Josh and his wife, Kelli (a first-grade teacher in Chapel Hill), joined Riggs in 2015 and have worked tirelessly since then to build our youth program from scratch. He has not only built a robust vacation bible school program that continues to grow each year, but he has also worked to coordinate area-wide worship with nearby congregations and added the activities noted below. Josh has a B.S. in Agriculture Business from UT Martin, a M. Ed in School Counseling from FHU, and an Ed. S in Administration and Supervision from FHU.

Teen Devos

Riggs CoC Scholarship Fund
The Riggs scholarship fund offers an opportunity for any qualifying student to earn a scholarship to a Christian university of higher education. In order to earn the scholarship, you must meet certain criteria, desire to attend a qualified Christian university, and maintain a Christian lifestyle. This scholarship is provided by monetary donations from members of the congregation, community, and Christian brotherhood and also adheres to a set of bylaws that are actively upheld by the board members and Riggs CoC elders.
