McGarvey College of the Bible
Riggs began supporting MCOB in 2025. MCOB has many students in several African countries and the USA. The purpose of MCOB is to assist churches of Christ around the world in equipping ministers who have graduated from a school of preaching or undergraduate college to gain an increased knowledge and capability for teaching the word of God. They are a graduate school designed specifically for graduates of schools of preaching around the world.

Childhaven
Riggs supports the Childhaven mission point in Cullman, Alabama. This program focuses on troubled teenage girls in an effort to provide them with a safe, faith centered environment where they can be supported in finding direction and purpose. Childhaven also provides programs that aid teen mothers, foster children, and young women as they pursue higher education and employment.

Tennessee Children's Home

Healing Hands International
MAGI Project: "Making a Godly Impact"

Navajo Nation
Riggs, along with other church congregations in the Chapel Hill area, helps support missionaries that work in Northwestern New Mexico. Namely, there has been work done with the Hogback and Shiprock churches of Christ that are located in the Navajo Nation region. This mission work includes, but isn’t limited to: aiding in worship, construction projects, medical aid, feeding the homeless, providing shuttle services, preaching the gospel, and other evangelical works

Riggs CoC Scholarship Fund
The Riggs scholarship fund offers an opportunity for any qualifying student to earn a scholarship to a Christian university of higher education. In order to earn the scholarship, you must meet certain criteria, desire to attend a qualified Christian university, and maintain a Christian lifestyle. This scholarship is provided by monetary donations from members of the congregation, community, and Christian brotherhood and also adheres to a set of bylaws that are actively upheld by the board members and Riggs CoC elders.
